Without a doubt, one of the best things the North Coast has going for it is its fantastic public-private partnerships. The #LoveNorthCoast movement is one such example – as is the groundbreaking public-private partnership between Siza Water and the iLembe District Municipality for the delivery of water services in the region.
Another very successful example of this on the North Coast is the public-private partnership between KwaDukuza Municipality and the Ballito Urban Improvement Precinct (BUIP), which supports the safety and maintenance of public areas in Ballito.
In a thought piece recently released by Rainmaker Marketing, BUIP’s Brian Wright (a renowned leader in precinct management and urban development) shared some insights into the revolution of urban management, reiterating the importance of public-private collaboration.
